From Nazca, you’ll fly for about 35 minutes over 14 famous Nazca geoglyphs in a shared six-seat aircraft. Pickup, airport transfer, and return shuttle are included, while the 30-sol airport tax and 47-sol tourist fee are paid in cash. Expect a flexible departure time, WhatsApp updates, and plenty of turns in the air.

“The flight was amazing and seeing the Nazca lines was a once in a lifetime experience, just make sure you don’t eat for a few hours beforehand as I felt a little queasy. The transportation was very efficient and we weren’t waiting for very long at the airport in Nazca for our flight. Just be aware that you may need to pay extra if you and any baggage weigh over 90kg.”

“This trip was a long day but extremely worth it. From the greeting at 6am Ronald and Carlos provided excellent knowledge of the areas we travelled through and provided interesting insights into the Peruvian culture and regions. First we experienced the dune buggies and the oasis. This was very enjoyable. Our guide was extremely experienced. We then visited a winery before finishing the day flying over the Nazca lines. It was a 10 out of 10 for the whole trip”

Leave Lima around 3:30 a.m. for a full day of wildlife, ancient desert drawings, and dune adventure. You’ll ride a shared boat at Ballestas, fly over the Nazca Lines from Pisco or Nazca, and visit Huacachina Oasis. Guides such as Aymen, Jonathan, Sergio, and Ruddy have been praised for friendly local insight, but the pace is intense.

“Great tour! Many nice sights in one long day. The guide was nice and friendly. I really enjoyed seeing the Penguins, the flight over the Nazca lines and the ride in car at Huacachina in the sunset. I think we may have had time to eat in the restaurant at Nazca, it was a bit uncomfortable eating in the car, though we saved some time going back to Lima. Good to eat after the flight as it was quite an experience for the body. This was an intense tour with so many nice and beautiful sights.”

5.Nazca Lines & Ballestas Islands Private Tour Bus&Flight from Lima

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 77 reviews · 14 hours (approx.) · from $818

Leave Lima before dawn for a coach ride to Paracas, a speedboat trip past sea lions and Humboldt penguins at the Ballestas Islands, then a Cessna flight over the Nazca Lines from Pisco. A private guide and ground transfers keep the day organized, but expect a very long schedule, sharp turns in the plane, and $20 in extra airport and overflight fees.

“Excellent tour, excepting the low quality of the lunch in a sub-class restaurant. Again, paid $1,200 for a tour and got $10 lunch which compromised the entire experience. Also, when back to Lima, nobody waited for us in the bus station, luckyly I had a cell to call local company.”

Leave Lima at 3:00 AM for a 35-minute Nazca Lines flight, then continue to Huacachina for dune-buggy riding, sandboarding, and sunset views. English or Spanish guides, including Frendy and Sonya, lead the day. Hotel pickup is available in selected Lima districts. Meals and two aerodrome fees cost extra.

“The tour day was very long, and was well worth the effort. Sonya was an informative and friendly guide. The Nazca Lines flight is not for the faint of heart or for those who are prone to motion sickness. And the Huacachina buggy ride feels like a roller coaster ride. We saw beautiful places and had a great experience.”

Hotels, breakfasts, guides, transfers, major entry fees, and five lunches are included. You arrange the Lima to Cusco flight.

“The content of the trip is outstanding; the Inca information and sites are spectacular. The VIPAC tour guides were outstanding, and we had a personal tour guide for each site we visited. I can't say enough about VIPAC's (the Peru tour company) attention to detail. This is a somewhat physical trip with a very busy schedule complicated by going from sea level to 11,000 feet at Cusco. We struggle with breath and stomach issues the first couple days in Cusco due to the altitude. We did take medicine and wore patches but just be prepared and prepare yourself. The Sacred Valley stops were amazing and of course Machu Picchu is…”
