First day: Abra Málaga - Santa Maria
We start traveling four hours by bus to Abra Malaga Pass (4315m), once on the top the breathtaking views of Mt Veronica (5682m) and the deep tropical forest at the bottom will invite us to take our bikes to begin our downhill adventure to Machupicchu. We will ride by a dirt road for around five hours with spectacular 2535m. of vertical loss to the village of Santa Maria in just 65 Km !!!, during the day you will appreciate how suddenly the landscape changes, from fantastic snow capped mountains to the exuberant and warm high tropical forest habitat of numerous species of flowers and plants. Overnight at Santa Maria

Second Day to Aguas Calientes:
After a delicious and hearty breakfast we take a short bus trip to Hatunpampa Pass. From the top we continue with our mountain bike adventure riding through banana and coffee plantations with the spectacular scenery of the Vilcanota Canyon at the bottom. Later we arrive to Santa Teresa town where we leave the bikes and start a five hours trekking adventure to Mandor waterfalls, a cloud forest area that will show us the natural beauty and great biodiversity of the Machupicchu Sanctuary, there we will see beautiful orchids, mosses, ferns and possibly if we are lucky the famous Cock-of-the-Rocks (The National bird of Peru). We will spend the night at Aguas Calientes. Free night
Note: From Santa Teresa to Machupicchu there is a moderate technical section over the train rail which is only available for those who wants to achieve the challenge of arriving to Machupicchu by bike.

Third day Machupicchu - Cusco:
After breakfast we well climb towards “Machupicchu”, The lost city of the Incas. A guided tour of the marvelous citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of Three Windows, the Circular Tower and the Sacred Sun Dial and Burial Grounds. You also have plenty of time at the ruins to climb Huayna Picchu (the mountain that you see in the background). It takes about 1 hour to climb and 40 minutes to descend. After visit this magical and spiritual wonder we will take the train back to Cusco.
